So you just nailed your interview. You got a call from your boss offering you the job. Congratulations! So if your family or significant other keep pressing you about what you want this holiday season, here’s a few things to suggest:

It’s a simple gift, and oh so classy. Even just a small selection of pocket squares in neutral tones can do the trick on any day. Nordstrom and Macy’s have a wide variety of pocket squares, from plain to bold. It’s a detail that can be easily missed, but makes all the difference.
Dress Socks
There is nothing silly about wanting dress socks. Just like pocket squares, dress socks are a key detail that will get you noticed. More specifically, you will be noticed if you don’t have them. Maybe you already have one, but maybe you need a spare? Using the same shoulder bag every day can make it wear fast, so you’ll be thankful to have a second one handy. If you have a tan purposely-worn leather satchel, maybe go for a sleek and minimal spare. Depending on your preference, you can likely find the same pocket placement and storage capacity to fit your needs.
Sunglasses
This is an accessory that is useful for both in and outside of work. Perhaps you have a favorite brand, like Ray-Bans. Getting a pair in both brown and black will give you more diversity to your wardrobe whether in the office or at the beach.
Cologne
If you haven’t already, it’s time to ditch the Axe Body Spray. Invest in a subtle and fine fragrance. An assistant at the counter will help you pick the perfect scent for your taste as well as your body chemistry. Who knew one scent doesn’t fit all? Of course, the cologne need not be expensive, but remember that a little goes a long way. In addition, shopping for cologne can be a lot of fun for both you and your significant other. At the end of the day, maybe both of you can come home with a new fine fragrance!
